I knew Sam from age 10+, but the rest of the family before and after... I loved making him laugh. It’s strange to remember someone as an innocent child, and literally only hear about ‘adult’ problems, which can’t replace the memories you have because you never saw it for yourself. Anyway, it brings tears to my eyes just imagining what this pain feels like for his sisters. And Carlo + Ann too....one of the greatest songwriters I can think of wrote a song with the line “Now you should never have to watch as your only children are lowered in the ground...I mean, never have to bury your own babies” (2002) I could go on, but it’s not right, nothing can make tragedy even close to easy, and There’s nothing more unfair In life than this. I mean thoughts and prayers are nice, but I wish people took 15 seconds to have an original thought. None of us can say anything to fix this, nobody can make a cruel world a fair place, but if you need a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen for a while, whatever it takes, Call if you need anything, 5.1.99
