Obituary of Harry J Seher, Jr.

Harry J. Seher, Jr., 63, of Wildwood, NJ, entered into peaceful rest on Saturday May 1, 2021. Harry was a lifelong resident of Wildwood. He graduated in the WHS class of 1976 and was active in the Wildwood bowling leagues. In early adulthood, Harry worked on the Wildwood boardwalk at a Skilo game and giving change at the casinos in Atlantic City; both fostered his delight of interacting with people. He was passionate about bowling, reading the newspaper, especially the sports section, his favorite teams the Eagles and Phillies, Maple Ave, and his family. Harry was friendly and intentional in his kindness, going out of his way to speak to strangers. He was polite and genuinely interested in others. He was predeceased by his father, Harry J. Seher, Sr, mother and devoted caregiver, Mary Taylor, and stepfather, Robert W. Taylor, Sr. He is survived by his sisters Doreen McIntyre (James), Trudy Benavidez (Valentine), and Bobbi-Jo Taylor (Burak Sozer), niece Angela, and nephews Anthony and Landon, aunts Florence and Dale (Jack), and uncle Ray. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday May 6th, 2021, at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood, NJ, where family and friends may call from 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Fairview Memorial Park, Cape May Court House, NJ.
