Charles Keith Brackett, 88, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away, Thursday October 21, 2021, 5 days before his 89th birthday. Born in Shelby, North Carolina he has been local resident since 1971. Mr. Brackett was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a retiree of Rohm and Haas. He was a substitute teacher in Wildwood, NJ. Mr. Brackett enjoyed coaching Men's Fast Pitch Softball Team. He was a coach of the Mayfair Monarchs Youth Organization where he coached Little League Baseball, Football and Basketball. He was a member of the Anglesea Fire Company, the Elks Lodge of North Wildwood and the New Jersey Beekeepers Association. Mr. Brackett loved spending time with his Family, Hunting, Fishing, Farming and be a Beekeeper. He was a devoted fan of all the Philadelphia Sports Team and the University of North Carolina Teams. He was Predeceased by his wife Claire Brackett and is survived by his daughter Linda Smith ( Mark), two sons Richard Brackett, Glenn Brackett (Donna) and his Stepson Walter Hope ( Karen)& 10 Grandchidren,8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
