Robert A. Clemens posted a condolence

My earliest memory with my Uncle Clem was him holding me on a table. He was smoking a cigar and he let me try it- not really because I didn't know how to smoke. But I remember the smell.
I cherished the stories my Aunt Cass told me about my Uncle Don and Uncle Clem. They used to sing under the lamp post at night the old standards of the day such as When Your Old Wedding Ring was New and others. I also liked the story of when Uncle Clem rescued Uncle Don in an abandoned building. Uncle Clem said, "Don't worry Don, the fire department is coming while making the sound of a fire siren. They must have been alot of fun to be around back then. I wasn't alive then but I have the memories passed down to me.
I want to thank my Uncle Clem for his service to his country and for his service in the Philadelphia Fire Department. When I was little, I remember seeing his old steel fire hat. I am sure it is still in the family
My thoughts and prayers are with my Aunt Josephine, my cousins Jen, and Billy. Another good person is gone but let us always remember.
Your Nephew,
Robert A. Clemens

There is no higher compliment in the Philadelphia Fire Department than A NICE GUY AND A GOOD FIREMAN. Lieutenant Park Clemens was the epitome of both. Rest easy Clem.
