Obituary of Joseph G Murray

Murray, Joseph, -62, born and raised in the Wildwoods, lost his battle with cancer on May 12, 2022. He passed comfortably surrounded by his loved ones. A lifetime resident of the Wildwood’s he attended Philip P. Baker School and Wildwood High School. Joe was involved in various community activities and truly loved his town. He had a long career in casino and hospitality industries. In retirement Joe enjoyed helping his son at One Off Marketing. Avid lover of motorcycles, he was a proud member of Cape Classics Mc., Dedicated friend, husband, father and grandfather, Joe loved his wife and family. Joe is survived by his loving wife Carmen (Aita), his devoted son, Joseph Murray Jr. and his wife Barbara, as well as his grandchildren, Brenna, Mollie, AJ, his sisters Theresa & Jane Murray and extended family. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Patricia Murray, his siblings Patricia (Verete) Murray, Charles Murray Jr., and Michael Murray (Michele). Services to be held at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260 on Tuesday May 17, 2022. Friends may call from 9:30am to 11:00am,  memorial service to be held immediately after. Family and friends invited to share favorite stories of Joe.
