Obituary of Rita Marie Agasar

With deep sadness and broken hearts, we share the announcement our beloved Mother Rita M. Agasar, born February 18, 1931, passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 91. She is joined in heaven with her parents Michael and Kathryn Brezina, her sister Bernadine Schoenewald and her brother Michael Brezina. Survived by her loving family – her daughter Deborah Miller and her husband Wayne, her daughter Lynne Hutchinson, her sons Gerald Agasar and his wife Cathy, Joseph Agasar and his wife Jennifer, Ronald Agasar and his wife Sharon. Rita has a beautiful blended family of 18 grandchildren, and  18 great grandchildren who will remember her love of the color purple and cherish the memories of their time spent at her North Wildwood, NJ beach house that she generously shared with the many that loved her. Our Mom Rita leaves a legacy of strength and support with families and friends that will miss her. Mom always said, keep on moving, never stop, that is how she lived her life, always independent and on the move.  She liked playing cards, scrabble and was great with word games, in addition some of her retirement time was spent volunteering at Lazarus House to help those less fortunate than her. Mom’s lifelong love of the beach is what most will remember and cherish as among some of the best times spent with her.

Our Mom had many names – Mom, Mom Mom, Grams, and to most of her great grandchildren Mom Mom Mom…We love you always, rest with the angels!

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday June 15, 2022, from 10 to 10:45am, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am., at Notre Dame De La Mer Parish (formerly St. Ann’s), 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ. Interment will be private.
