Mary Ellen McGovern (Nestor), passed away quietly at the age of 91 on Wednesday, June 15. She was
born in Philadelphia, PA on March 4, 1931. Mary Ellen has been an island resident for over 45 years and
during that time she worked at Taylor’s Variety Store, North Wildwood City Hall and her favorite place,
the Triangle Restaurant. Mary Ellen is survived by her sons, James and Sean, her daughter, Kathleen
(Jim), and her granddaughter, Breann. She is predeceased by her daughter, Julia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame de la Mer on Wednesday, June 22, 2023 at 11
