Marquise DeAndre Coleman
February 27, 1998 – July 05, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marquise DeAndre Coleman, of North Cape May, NJ, who passed away at the young age of 24 on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born in Cape May County on February 27, 1998. Always able to put a smile on someone’s face, Marquise provided a lifetime of memories in such a short time. Marquise had an unforgettable personality and eyes to match. As a baby, many people would stop his mother Karen to comment on his beautiful eyes. In his younger years “Quise” enjoyed playing football and writing music. He graduated from Lower Cape May Regional Highschool which made his parents Mike and Karen very proud.
He was a die-hard Cowboys fan as well as a Lakers and Yankees fan just like his dad. From a young age music was his passion. Marquise aspired to be a Rap artist and began recording music and videos. He even released an album this past year and was working with producers on new music. Marquise had an acquired taste for fashion as well. Nike sweat suits and Air-Force 1’s were a must have in his wardrobe. Marquise loved his Mom-Mom and her Italian cooking, especially her gnocchis. He was Michael and Ava’s beloved protector. Marquise loved spending time with his girlfriend Precious and her children. On June 8, 2022 Marquise DeAndre Coleman Jr, was born. Becoming a father was one of Marquise’s greatest accomplishments and proudest moment.
Marquise is survived by his parents Michael and Karen Coleman; his son Marquise DeAndre Coleman Jr.; his siblings Michael, Ava, Gabrielle, Shayne, Caine, Elijah, and Alana; his grandparents Marie Rogers, Oliver Coleman Jr., Carol Koch and Beverly Colson; his girlfriend Precious Talley and children; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
