I remember wondering why Mario constantly spoke of Mr.Hayney…until we met for the first time, he was special, smart beyond comprehension, quick witted and friendly. Always with a quote or story and fun to be around. His love for Mrs Hayney was old fashioned, honorable and respectful. They were a team. He was truly the kind of man you rarely find anymore. I remember him calling me Melania trump, which proved his eyes were going years ago, but a compliment all the same. A kind, knowledgeable and incredibly interesting man. I am so thankful he looked after my husband for all these years and welcomed me in with open arms. It was a pleasure knowing him. I will end with a quote in true Hayney fashion “Say not in grief he is no more, but live in thankfulness that he was”
