Obituary of Edmund C. Jones, Jr.

Edmund (Ned) C. Jones, Jr., 82, of Wildwood Crest, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 27,2022.  He was born on July 13, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pa. to Edmund C. Jones, Sr. and Mary L. Jones.  Ned lived his life to the very fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and as a member of the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Florence and survived by his significant other of 10 years Lea Hagelin,  He is survived by his sons Edmund C.Jones, III. (Christy), Christopher Jones (Jody), his daughter Kelly Bresan (Joe), grandsons Miles Kenyon (Sarah), Dylan Jones , Phelan Jones , and Brendan Jones  (KarliAnn) and granddaughters Taylor Turner  (Matt), Brooklynn Bresan , and Devynn Bresan  .  Also survived by his sister Frances Tobin and twin sister Patsy Zarella (Mike), brother-in law Joe King (Penny), sisters in - laws Dorothy Minahan (Charlie), Marian Wilson (Wayne), and Barbara Crow (Tom).  He is also survived by many loving nephews,nieces,great nephews and great nieces.Mass will be held at 11am Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ where friends my call from 9:30am  -10:45am.  Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Middle Township, NJ.  In lieu of  flowers donations can be made to the Greater Wildwood Elks # 1896 Charity Fund.  Condolences may be sent to ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
