Dolores Elizabeth Mazzotta ( Morse) of Wildwood, NJ passed away peacefully at home Sunday afternoon January 3, 2016. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years. Leon M. Mazzotta, DDS and survived by her sons, Robert Mazzotta and James Mazzotta, and grandchildren, Leon Mazzotta, David Mazzotta and Teresa Dowe. She led an extraordinary life as a loving wife, mother, and assistant in her husband's dental practice. Her interests included playing bridge with her friends and growing plants and flowers that filled her home. She loved being around her grandchildren and family, traveling with her husband to Florida to visit her son and spending time in the sun. She enjoyed shopping, especially in Boscov's , but her biggest thrill was playing practical jokes on her friends and family, something she learned from her father. Over the years, she frequented the local McDonald's where she met almost everyday with her friends. Ill health prevented her from being with her McDonalds friends over the last years, however, she reminisced about them everyday. The family would like to thank Holy Redeemer Hospice care for everything that their caregivers did to make Dolores' last days so comfortable and cheerful. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Dolores Mazzotta's name to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210. Services will held at Assumption RC Church, 7100 Seaview Ave., Wildwood Crest, NJ, Thursday January 7th. Viewing will begin at 9am with Mass at 10am.
