Obituary of Patricia P. D'Amico
Patricia P. D’Amico (nee Rice) of Wildwood New Jersey and formally of Philadelphia Pa passed away June 2nd peacefully surrounded by Her Loving Family.
Born in Philadelphia, she attended school there until her teens and then her family moved to Wildwood New Jersey. Patricia graduated from Wildwood Catholic high school in 1953 and then continued on to school for cosmetology in Camden County New Jersey. She worked in the industry for many years and when she had three of her five children she had a little salon set up at her home to help support the family. She was a former Jacee-ette, Life long member of the Wildwood Ladies Fire Auxiliary, and in later years a member of the Red Hats Society Patricia enjoyed making ceramics and crocheting/knitting.. But most of all, She loved her Children and Family. That was what Patricia was all about..Family! Whether it be opening her doors to Her relatives in the summers or Her Childrens Friends.. Patricia was Welcoming to All. Her other Families where her Kranich shop co-workers whom She adored and then later on, Her crew at St.Ann’s Rectory where She cooked for the Priest’s. Patricia had a keen sense of humor. She was Queen of the one liners. She had many aliases but a few are Patrish, Trisha, Patticakes, Maaa, Motherrr and Mommy Dearest.Patricia was the most kind, sweet and selfless women you would ever meet. I’m sure she will get many acculades in Heaven for her good deeds on Earth.Patricia is predeceased by Her Parents Jack and Cecelia Rice. Her in-laws Viola and Mike D’Amico as well as her Brother in law Reverend Michael D’Amico.Also Her Godmother Phyllis Recupido,Sisters Jeannie and Dolores and Brothers Jack and Sonny.Also Patricia’s long time companion Robert Connell. And we cannot forget All her loving n loyal Fur babies.She is survived by her five children John jr, Theresa(Ed), Mary Helen, Mark( Lisa), Christopher(Lisa)Patricia’s Grand’s..Ashley(Steven), Brittany, Danielle (Thomas), Jenny, Rocco, Kristen, Michael.Her Great Grands Giana, Ryleigh, RJ, Trinity, Adrianna and Thomas, Tyler, Michael and Willow.Patricia is also survived by her Sisters Roberta Auciello, Sharon Simpson and Jacqueline Speigel and Many cousins to count along with Her life long Best friends Evelyn Leahy and Shirley Hoffnagle. We would also like to Mention Patricia’s Best Caregivers.. Her Nieces Liz and Isabella who took fantastic care of Her.
