Obituary of Bonnie E. McNamara

Bonnie E. Mc Namara, 80, passed away on July 18, 2023, surrounded by her family, at Cape Regional Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. Bonnie is survived by her son, Bud Pruitt and his wife, Patty. Her daughter, Patti Henry and her husband, Larry. Grandchildren: Nicole Susuico (Joseph), Danielle Pruitt, Christopher Pruitt. Great-Grandchildren: Makayla Montgomery, Angelina Montgomery, Chelsey Moore, Sydney Susuico, Seth Susuico, Max Sauselein, Brayden Leon, Loghan Susuico, JoLeigh Susuico, and Elijah Pruitt. Brother-in-law: Frank Wiley. Nieces: Pam Wiley, and Paula Wiley. Great Nieces: Mackenzie Shepps, and Savannah Shepps as well as many cousins and friends. Bonnie was predeceased by her father, John McNamara, mother, Betty Copenhaver McNamara, and sister, Patricia McNamara Wiley. Bonnie grew up in Green Ridge, PA, then retired and resided in North Wildwood, NJ for the past 20 years. Bonnie graduated from Eddystone High School and Temple University with a degree in Education. She was the first female President of Aston A.A. and coached Girls Basketball for many years. She was a key punch operator at The Boeing Company and while employed she was named Miss Chinook. She worked at Media Real Estate for several years and then taught Hotel Motel Management at Folcroft Vo-Tech. Once in North Wildwood, NJ, she worked at Flynn Realty until retirement. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved spending time at the beach. She had a sassy sense of humor that everyone enjoyed. She loved going to Irish Weekend and was proud to tell everyone she was Irish. Bonnie will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her love of life, and her generous heart. She was so proud of her family and loved them fiercely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
