Obituary of Patricia A. Yoder

Patricia “Trisha” A Yoder (Thomas), 75, of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. Born in Tarrytown, NY to Stephen and Marie Thomas. She resided in Valley Cottage, NY with her late husband Walter and their sons, Walter and Chris. After working several years as the Administrative Assistant to the superintendent of Greenburgh 11 School in Dobs Ferry, NY, Trisha met Robert Yoder. The two fell in love, got married and relocated to Widwood, NJ so they could enjoy the beautiful beaches that she loved so much. She has been a Cape May County Resident for the past 25 years.   While in Cape May County, Trisha worked in group sales for the Flagship Resort in Atlantic City, the Red Cross and finally as a Realtor in the Wildwoods.  Trisha always had a smile on her face and was loved by all who knew her.  She was always thinking of others and put their needs before her own.  One of her greatest passions was her 9 shih-tzu dogs who she would affectionately call “her babies”. 

Trisha is survived by her loving sons Walter and Chris Fabiszewski, daughter-in-law Anca and grandson Sebastian as well as her extended family Aimee Yoder-Habermehl, Chris Yoder and his wife Michelle, Colin Yoder and his wife Natalie and her 8 additional grandchldren.  She will also be missed by her beloved companion and last surviving shih-tzu TT Smurf McKenzie. 

A memorial service to celebrate Trisha’s life will be held at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home located at 1201 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ on Friday August 11, 2023 at 11am with a calling time from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Trisha’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be sent to ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
