Mr. C was a very big part of our family and we all loved him very much! ❤️ He was like a grandfather to my boys who will miss him dearly and he was also one of the most generous men I know. I will forever be grateful for all of the love and support he showed us over the years.

A gentle, sweet man with impeccable manners. A fellow bridge player with whom I had the pleasure having for a bridge partner a few times. Great memories of a great man.

This is the only picture I can find of Frank in his Army days. It is a little fuzzy, but he looks very handsome in his uniform. I read some the letters that he wrote Dad when he was in Vietnam. One of the letters talked about a brand new technology (at the time) called night vision goggles. Another letter talked about how excited the locals were as they prepared for their new year celebration, which they called the Tet. It gave me chills because I knew how that New Years celebration was going to turn out. It was like I was reading history as it was being made. There were a lot of challenges Frank had to face during his service in the military. But he handled it well, just like he handled all of the other challenges in his life. He was always there for all of us. He gave us his support and strength. The most amazing thing I remember him doing is taking me to a medical procedure on the morning his son (my nephew John) died. The police knocked on his door at 7am, and he picked me up at 7:30am. He didn't even tell me about John until we were on the way back home afterwards. I don't know how he held it together, but he did it for me. He was an extraordinary person. I am so happy that he is now with Baby Frankie and the rest of our family again.

Frank was my history teacher in High School and became my brother-in-law a few years later when he married my sister. We had a lot of fun when our kids were young and our families did things together. He was a wonderful father to his children and through the years was a good friend to many, including Fred & I.
He will be missed.
