Obituary for William (Oak) T. O'Connor Jr.

       William (Oak) Thomas O’Connor Jr., of North Wildwood, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023.  He was 65 years old.
Bill was a Retired Millwright at Local 1906 now known as Local 219. He was a long-time resident of Maple Shade and a founding father of Maple Shade Street Hockey Organization.  Bill was a proud and devoted member of the Anglesea Irish Society in which he loved spending time with his Irish Brothers.  In addition, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at many different courses.  Bill was the beloved husband of Susan A. O’Connor, Loving Stepfather of Wesley Post (Leda) and James Buinicky (Carli), Loving Brother to Daniel (Barbara), Audrey (Bob), and Michael (Rosemarie), Devoted Grandfather to Wesley and Caylee Post, and Dedicated Uncle to Ralph (Stacy), Danny, Lauren and Michael.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill’s life celebration gathering at Ingersoll – Greenwood Funeral Home of North Wildwood, 1201 Central Ave. on Thursday 12/7 from 3-5 pm.
