Robert McCarthy, 68, of Cape May Court House, New Jersey, passed away on February 10, 2024

at Cooper University Hospital. Born on December 11, 1955 in Bridgeton, New Jersey to Jack and

Mildred McCarthy. In 1967 the family moved to West Cape May. Bob worked at Cape Regional

Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist. He later established McCarthy Respiratory and

Medical Supply in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. In 2004, Bob retired to Maine then

Florida and returned to Cape May Court two years ago. Bob leaves behind a son, Ryan

McCarthy of Clearwater Florida, a daughter, Mary McCarthy Melli (Paul) of Erma New Jersey,

sister and very best friend Pat Layton of Cape May Court House, New Jersey, brother Jack

McCarthy (Debbie) of Lancaster, PA, a grandson, Trace McCarthy, Granddaughters, Makayla

Marchina and Samantha McCarthy, Step sop Paul Salvesen, Nieces Jessika Manning and

Heather Gallagher as well as his sweet little Weezie.

You will be missed dearly and loved forever our Funny Irish Man
