Obituary of William Peter
William Peter, 82 affectionally known as Bill, Pete, Uncle Bill, Pop, Dad, Mr. Bill as well as Aunt Billy. A resident of Wildwood, formerly of Philadelphia, died peacefully at home surrounded by love on 4/10/24.
He is predeceased by his Wife of 54 years, Sally (Clancy) his Son Christopher, grandchildren Kayla (Peter) and Henry (McAteer). Bill was also the last of his six siblings to cross through the pearly gates of heaven; oh, what a celebration that must have been!
Pop is survived by his children Scott (Nicole), Sallyanne (Robert) and Margaret (Jesus). Grandchildren Marcelina (Robert), Stephanie (Jack) Hayley, Reagan and Claire. He was a great pop to Harley and Henry. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews as well as his "little dog" Tink.
William was a hard worker and could fix just about anything all while whistling a tune. He was a great baker and a good cook. A jovial, happy, witty man who would always bring a smile. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His family and friends were his life. If Love could have kept him here, he would have lived forever!
His Life celebration will be held at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home 1201 Central Ave North Wildwood NJ 08260. A viewing will begin at 10am to 11 with a memorial service, followed by a Christian burial at St Mary's Cemetary West Cape May NJ.
Bill would often say, the easiest place to give is to give to the food banks, "people are always hungry". In Lieu of flowers please send donations The Branches Food Pantry/Bank 201 Hirst Ave Rio Grande NJ 08242
