Sandy Zsitkovsky Clifford Shanklin
My dear Sandy, American Legion and Vietnam Vets had a wonderful tribute to you today. I went with Effie and actually stood and spoke about you. Aren't you proud of me? I don't usually talk in public:) You were praised, remembered and missed. My heart is broken,that because of my driving problem I couldn't be with you at the last home like I visited all the others. Peggy Lynn and I took turns calling you daily. But with no computer or phone in the room, a full mail box on your cell, we could only reach you if you heard the phone ring. But you were always thought of and prayed for.
I know you understood about me not being able to drive to Linwood, but I still cry about that.
R.I.P,. dear lady, you were loved and are missed.
