Obituary of Robert J. Feighery, III

Robert James Feighery III of Chestnut Hill, Pa and North Wildwood, NJ passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving wife Patricia Brown Feighery and his two sons Luis and Patrick, who tirelessly cared for him while battling inoperable brain cancer over the past 12 months. Rob was predeceased by his mother Carol, father Robert, and twin brother Michael Brian. Born on April 10, 1962, in Camden, New Jersey. Rob grew up in Colonial Manor, New Jersey, Horseheads, New York and MillCreek, Pennsylvania. He was a 1981 Graduate of McDowell High School and a 1985 graduate of SUNY University at Buffalo School of Management. At the University of Buffalo Rob was a founding father of his fraternity, Alpha Delta Phi. After moving to Chestnut Hill, Rob met Patricia Brown in 1989, and they married on November 16, 1991, in Bay Head, New Jersey. Rob was a dedicated employee for 30 years at Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions rising to Vice President of US Federal Contracts. A chosen profession he loved and won billions of dollars in contracts for his company. In May of 2022, he proudly became the President of Wood Programs. In his professional career he would like the opportunity to honor Joel Roberts for showing confidence in him. He also would like to thank Ted Ulrich, Joe Farrell, and Anne Massey; Senior Executive.

Rob was a devoted husband, father, brother, colleague, and friend to all he interacted with. All have at least one fond memory and stories to tell. He loved to run in his free time and ran the Philadelphia Marathon three times. He loved to dance with his wife Pat, play tennis, travel, and spend time together with their boys. He brought his competitive spirit everywhere he went no matter what sport or game no matter the stakes. He was a proud father to Lui and Patrick and he truly enjoyed the life he and Pat built together for over 32 years. To his many nieces and nephews, Rob was the proverbial "fun uncle" with his quick wit, humor, boisterous laugh, and love for all. Rob was consistently the life of the party and will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday October 10, 2024, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Chestnut Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Redeemer Health.org
