I just recently learned of D's passing. When I was little he always.let me hang around the docks, drive the boats, and help out. He was a wonderful man! Don Pagliaro, LCDR. USN (Ret.)

Anthony’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Angel and I are so sorry the hear of your loss. There are so many fond memories that I have of Dee spending my summers working on his dock including being well fed by Helene. I believe that I was Dee's first employee and still talk about all the times that Dee took me on the boardwalk and treated me to lemonade, ice cream and other treats. I remember how he taught me to put in the pilings so that he could build his dock. That also meant learning how to swing under water. He truly was a great teacher.
We will remember Dee, Helene and the family in our prayers.

Dear D'Alessio family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of who we also loving called "Mr. D".
We were truly blessed to have known him and all of you. He had a lasting affect on us all, especially Jenn who he inspired to pursue the teaching profession. Just last year we were down in Cape May and took a drive to Wildwood Crest and stopped and visited Mrs. D for a short while.
We cherish our many memories with all of you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Cathy & Jack

The world lost a very good man. Mr "D" as we always called him, was a wonderful neighbor and friend in Haddonfield Our best Mr D story is this:
He was headed to the airport to fly to Florida with many of his family. Unloading the car of all its luggage and making sure everyone was safe. Forward about two weeks ahead and he and Mrs.D are headed home when it struck him he had no idea where he parked the car...for good reason...he never parked it,.In fact, it was towed to the city lot. Once back in Haddonfield, he came to my parents' house to ask if they had any cash so he could retrieve the car. Of course they did and all ended well.
Just like in the end of Mr.D's life...it ended well.
We will miss you
