Gary F. Schmidt

Gary passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on November 4, 2019. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Originally from North Wildwood, he is survived by his mother, Betsy Schmidt; father, Butch Schmidt; sisters Lori Tyndall and Heidi Lovett, along with his daughter, Lauren and son, Conrad, as well as many cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Gary graduated from Wildwood High School and worked as an auto mechanic and HVAC installer. He treasured his children 'Goose and Bubba' and embraced every moment with them. He loved the Eagles, the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loved his mom's cooking, especially her signature roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans dinners. Gary will be remembered for his undeniably quirky sense of humor, which was his trademark. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. A private family 'Celebration of Life' will be held, in lieu of a service.
