Joseph Leeper, 74, of Wildwood, New Jersey.
It is with tremendous sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of our devoted husband, father, Poppop, brother, uncle, and mentor, Michael, on June 30th.
His career with the United States Marine Corps spanned from 1967 - 1988 and again from 1994 - 2011. He truly loved teaching and mentoring young Marines, and helping others to live their best life, and to build their retirement. Before he retired from the civil service, he began a tax preparation business.
Michael is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol, his children Anna, Renee, Ron, and Michael, his 10 grandchildren, whom he adored, and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by his former wife, Anna. He is predeceased by brothers, Patrick and Daniel , and sister, Barbara, and son, Richie. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
A small service at the Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Cape May Court House will begin promply at 11 am on Monday, July 10th.
