Uncle Billy has made a difference in so many lives and will be missed very much. I’m grateful for the times we shared together. He had a heart of gold & always made us laugh.
It’s with heavy hearts we are sending love, thoughts, prayers and our deepest condolences to Aunt Laura, Ashley, John and the family. May you hold close to your heart all the special moments you made together as his memory is a source of strength to help you through this difficult time.
His spirit lives on in the lives he touched. Our last visit with Uncle Billy was here in Florida (exactly a year ago). He flew in with my father, Michael McPherson and the two of them together were the ultimate duo! Always cracking jokes and the things they would say had us laughing so hard that our stomachs hurt. My dad would say, “I learned everything from Uncle Billy. That’s who taught me.” (LOL)
I’m truly grateful he got to spend time with us and visit with my boyfriend, Marty, my sons, Mason and Joey (his Great Great Nephews), my father, Michael, mother, Yvette & boyfriend Eric and Aunt Debbie.
They would spend hours by the pool side having conversations with Uncle Billy sitting under the tiki hut (Uncle Billy’s favorite little spot while he was down here) Uncle Billy said to me, “If my sister, (Patsy) could see you now and see them & meet the twins!” I smiled and told him, “I know & I know she’s always here in spirit.” Just then, a butterfly appeared and circled the tiki then flew right across Uncle Billy, I said to him, “that’s her! She’s here.” & He smiled. (As my father’s in the pool yelling, “that’s Nanny”.
Uncle Billy ALWAYS spoke about his family with great pride and four grandsons that he was extremely proud about! He shared such awesome pictures on his phone with us of his grandsons in football, the games and all the accomplishments everyone has made. We will forever cherish the good memories we had with him. May he Rest In Peace & be united with his loved ones. We love and miss you Uncle Billy. XOXO
With Love,
Crystal McPherson (AKA Your Florida Squad)

As a BEST friend, you certainly upheld ALL possible expectations at Pelican Pointe, the Visitation, and especially at the Chapel and the Military Burial Service at the Cape May County Veterans' Cemetery in Cape May Court House. I cannot thank you enough for your TOTAL support during this difficult time..... I know that Billy would have been totally PROUD of you for ALL that you have done, and forever grateful. Laura.
