Obituary of Vincent Leon Fulginiti
Vincent Leon Fulginiti, 80, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2024. He was born on January 26, 1944 and grew up in Wildwood, NJ. Vince graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1961 and Villanova University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
He joined the US Army and served for 12 years including two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star three times, the Vietnam Service Medal with one silver and two bronze service stars, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, in addition to other commendation, service, and campaign medals.In 1978, Vince began a second career, and over a 35-year span, he helped hundreds of families in the local community and beyond as a Financial Advisor.
Vince is predeceased by his parents, Leon and Giacomina (Perricone), and his brothers Anthony and Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann; his children, Joann DeStefano (David),James (Jessie), and Jackie Fiore (Sean); four grandchildren – Julia, Joseph, and Evelyn Fulginiti, and Josephine Fiore; his siblings Rita Sayford (Frank) and Leon (MaryEllen), and his cousins, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home at 1201 Central Avenue in North Wildwood on Friday, August 16, 2024 beginning at 9:30am followed by a prayer service at 11:00am.
