Uncle Bob, the impact you have had on my life was instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today. You were my great Uncle in title, but you were more than that to me. I chose you as my sponsor for confirmation, which is a position where an individual is intended to be a spiritual guide and mentor to the candidate for a lifelong commitment, and you were that to me. You were my choice because of your positive energy that you always shared and the calmness that generated around you and helped everybody feel at ease. You were always close by as I grew up and I remember the joy you always had, and I would have when I saw you.
I remember going over to your house after every Halloween as a kid and getting to hang out with my cousins as we ran around all sugared up from candy and you being excited to see us in our costumes. I will always cherish the times you came over on Christmas eve, as a kid I enjoyed it as an adult it helped me understand the importance of family. I remember you always asked me about the sports I was playing, and how you felt we were doing. We would always talk about the current state of Philadelphia sports which is tough as a Philadelphia sports fan. I remember eating my first crumb cake with you as a kid from the local bakery.
As I now have my own family, I try my best to always bring the positive energy and calmness that you always had. I will miss you Uncle Bob, You are the man! I love ya!

Uncle Bob was loved by so many… he had the kindest heart. Wildwood Crest was his happy place as long as his “Eileen” was with him. He loved her very much because the twinkle in his eye was so obvious.
We (Joe, Denise, Mike and Rick) were so happy Uncle Bob and Aunt Eileen lived down the “alley”. So many, many times my brothers would visit to watch Roller Derby, Wrestling… true memories for them. Many times he would come to our house and enjoy the “craziness” of Romano’s as we became teenagers. Sometimes he broke up fights(lol)
I know the memories we have will always be with us of Uncle Bob. The best is, he took his memories of all us with him.
Lov you always Uncle Bob
Karen❤️

We were so lucky to be able to have Bob as our friend. Bowling together, playing cards and spending time on the beach. Hollywood Avenue will not be the same without Bob walking by our house. We love you and will miss you.

Bob was the sweetest, kindest and most fun to be around. We would be so excited every time we were with Uncle Bob. Even the night Uncle Bob broke my dining room chair when he sat down to play cards. Never laughed so much and he was so cute. Aunt Eileen and I still talk and laugh about my poor chair. We will miss Bob. No one will ever be like Bob.

My Uncle Bobalou, You were a blessing in my life, and I will forever cherish the memories we shared together; you took me to my first NFL game down at the old Vet, made me an Eagles fan for life, breakfast at Llanerch dinner, my first trip to the Wildwood Crest Jersey shore, many Romano family get togethers that I could fill a whole book up with stories about, coming by the Bryan street house on Christmas eves, our kids always loved that, cookies with UB, always had time for Louie and Shelby his grand-nephew and niece, always had a smile on his face, many shared Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers game and I can go on and on, so many great memories. Thank you for how much laughter and joy you brought into our lives. John Miller

My Uncle Bobby is the BEST!!!! From my childhood to my Adulthood, and now in my Senior Citizenhood, Uncle Bobby was always there for me, and so many others--to lend a hand, make you smile, and laugh ALOT--ESPECIALLY with his one liner quotes. To name a few; "Lick a Pit", "Hello Wall", "Bye" --Uncle Bobby would be smiling every time said these quotes. I will miss you SO MUCH Uncle Bob!!!!
Love Denise
