Obituary of Robert D Romano

Robert (Bob) Romano, 78, of Wildwood Crest, NJ (formerly of Drexel Hill, Pa) passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7th, 2024.He was a resident of Wildwood Crest for the last 8 years and a member of the Forever Young group of Notre Dame de la Mer parish, and part of the Senior Citizens Bowling Club of Wildwood. 

            Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era. After getting out of the service, he was employed by Southside Meats and Genuardi's. He was an avid "Eagles Fan" and ticket holder for many years. He also loved watching the Phillies games and went to Spring Training several times with his lifelong friends.

     Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eileen Romano (nee McNulty) and many loving nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews, along with many dear friends.Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 12 , 2024 at 11 am with a visitation from 10 am to 10:45 am at the Church of the Assumption, 7100 Seaview Ave., Wildwood Crest, NJ. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Lazarus House, PO Box 1792, Wildwood, NJ  08260 .
